Are ALL tenants content ... email?

Usually, leave this as yes to allow you to send documents by email.

If you set this to yes, you must also allow the tenant to serve documents to the landlord by email.

Tenants Email for Service of Documents

This is the only tenant email to be shown in the tenancy agreement. If there are multiple tenants, documents will be deemed served on them all if sent to this email address (although you can still copy the document to more emails).

Tenant Names

You can add up to 9 tenants.

Add a tenant by clicking the ‘add’ button on the right.

Remove one by using the remove button.

Full Name

Enter the full name, including the title and middle names of the tenant.

Email

Remote signing will use this email.

If the tenancy is assured shorthold or occupation contract and a deposit scheme selected, this email will be inserted into the prescribed information and legally required.

Phone

The telephone of the tenant.

This field will only display if tenancy type equals assured shorthold tenancy or occupation contract, and you selected a deposit scheme.

The field must be filled in and is a legal requirement for the deposit prescribed information.

Fax

The fax number of the tenant.

This field will only display if tenancy type equals assured shorthold tenancy and a deposit scheme has been selected.

If the tenant has fax, the field must be filled in and is a legal requirement for the deposit prescribed information.

Current Address

Insert the ”current” address of the tenant. The address will be their actual address when preparing the agreement. Therefore, it will not likely be the tenancy address unless you’re doing a renewal.

Post Tenancy Address

The address should be used by the landlord or deposit scheme to contact the tenant ”after” the tenancy has ended.

This will typically be a family member or close friend’s address.

The field must be filled in and is a legal requirement for the deposit prescribed information.
